Giving back to your law school alma mater can be a mark of gratitude, an indicator of success and a vote of confidence in Mississippi College School of Law. At the end of the fiscal year, the size of each gift is truly less important what is of value is the consistency and breadth of support our institution receives from its alumni. There are numerous ways to give a financial gift to the Mississippi College School of Law, and every gift matters.
Annual giving is critical to providing Mississippi College School of Law with budget-relieving resources. Through your gifts, we are able to subsidize our Mission First Legal Aid Clinic where our students gain valuable legal experience providing pro-bono legal services. We are able to send our students all over the country to compete, where more times than not they depart with top-tier honors. We are able to provide externships, which allow our students to work in public service placements and give back to their community. Most importantly, your generosity allows us to provide financial aid to recruit and retain the best and brightest.
As we try to minimize tuition increases, we must rely more and more on your generosity. Without your support, some of our students will not experience the satisfaction of public service or the anxiety and thrill of a competition that may change their career objective or be able to afford the legal education they want at Mississippi College School of Law. All gifts, from $5 to $25 and beyond, when coupled with support from fellow alumni and friends, make a tremendous impact at the law school.
