Why give to MC Law?
Tuition and fees do not cover the singular expense of a Mississippi College School of Law education.
The Mississippi College School of Law is a Non-Profit, Christian university whose major source of revenue is the tuition paid by enrolled students. Unlike State funded schools, the law school does not receive state or federal funds to assist with operational cost. And like all Law schools we are competing for the brightest and best students which means offering scholarships to encourage students to attend. To help cover these scholarships, MC Law School seeks the financial support of Alumni, Legal Associates and Friends.
Gifts improve the quality of student education and help prepare the next generation.
Your gift to the Annual Fund supports many areas within the law school. Because the funds are not specifically designated, the funds can be used to cover cost such as updating equipment in classrooms, supporting Moot Court teams, enhancing security on campus, contributing to student scholarships and many other needs.
Participation serves as a barometer of the School’s overall success.
Gifts are an appreciated expression of support for the ongoing work of the school. When alumni voluntarily and generously give back to MC Law they express their satisfaction in the mission of the school.
Contributions are tax-deductible.
A recognized benefit of your gift to the Law School is a tax deduction that can be claimed each year on your tax return.
